Heart to Honduras works hand‐in‐hand with Honduran communities, local leaders, and churches in their own development process.
We endeavor to work in a Holistic manner, that is to say, we work to improve lives spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially, intellectually, and materially. We go about this with a process known as ABCD - Asset Based Community Development using the strengths of the local community where we are working. ABCD helps us identify and address all pertinent areas related to holistic community development such as clean water, adequate housing, healthcare, education, income-producing opportunities, spiritual life and growth, family health, infrastructures, etc. Each project, or initiative, listed below has undergone a thorough vetting process by the HTH Community Development Team to insure the initiative will accomplish what it says. It is important that each initiative is a collaboration between family, friends, church, community, mayor, city, etc.
